Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Advisor to Alan Kyeremanten Founder of the Movement for Change has disclosed that the latter wants all forms of mining activities; both legal and illegal banned in the country.

During an interview on TV3's NewDay, Yaw Buaben Asamoa emphasized the 10-point plan of Alan Kyeremanten which includes the banning of all mining activities in the country.

While highlighting the actions the Movement of Change will take when they assume power in 2025, he disclosed that new licenses issued to miners will cease and undergo review and audit for licenses which have been in operation for the last 15 years. "Alan Kyeremanten's plans highlight that mining won't be stopped in Ghana but it will be re-balanced and mine responsibly.

The 10-point plan is a complete ban on mining activities. Actions will be taken.
