The second edition of ‘Race 4 Heart’ put together by Ghana’s favourite entertainment channel, Joy Prime over the weekend recorded huge patronage.
The health initiative is organised by the channel to educate Ghanaians on keeping a healthy heart while keeping fit. Celebrities and media personalities across Ghana also joined the walk.
Joy Prime, with the support of National Cardio Thoracic Centre, Islamic Medical Association of Ghana and the Ghana Health Service, offered free heart screening to all participants during the event.
This year’s ‘Race 4 Heart’ was under the theme: “Take care of your heart for that special one”.
Some celebrities who attended the second edition included Okyeame Kwame, DKB, Ded Buddy, Tina Green, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Tima Kumkum, Lexis Bill, George Addo Junior, KMJ, IB, and Miss Universe Ghana, 2018 Akpene Diaki Hogger.
Also in attendance were Santokh Singh, General Manager of Multi-TV, Abdulai Awudu, General Manager of Adom Brands, and the Channels Manager for Joy Prime, Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong.
Participants received prizes and souvenir from sponsors.
