Charity homes share Gh¢100,000  at 'Nhyira Abodoo' Christmas party

Some 23 charity homes in Ashanti Region received a total of Gh¢100,000 Ghana cedis cash at this year’s Christmas party by Nhyira 104 .5 FM in Kumasi.

The amount is Gh¢20,000 rise from the Gh¢80, 000 mobilized last year.

Each of them took home between Gh¢1,000 and Gh¢12, 300 depending on the population of children or adults in their care.

Kumasi Children’s home with the highest number of inmates picked the biggest amount.

They also shared assorted food items, clothing and educational materials, after being treated with meals amid variety entrainment on Thursday, December 27.

 Nhyira FM’s listeners and other philanthropic individuals, as well as institutions, home and abroad, contributed the cash and items.

The station’s annual corporate social responsibility initiative has enjoyed massive patronage since its inception over 10 years ago.
