Video: Chocolate gets acquainted with Italian luxury brand Schiaparelli in Paris

Winner of Joy FM and African Fashion Fund’s maiden edition of Tailored African Fashion 2018 project, Kwaku Bediako, proprietor of Chocolate Clothing got acquainted with Italian fashion brand, Schiaparelli in Paris.

Chocolate by Kwaku Bediako, as part of his winning package, was flown to Paris as a speaker for the Change Now Summit and also as a patron of the Paris Fashion Week.

Prior to his visit to Schiaparelli, Kwaku Bediako (Chocolate Clothing) told JoyNews’ MzGee at Place Vendome, where almost all renowned luxury brand including Schiaparelli are found in Paris, he was hopeful of establishing his brand in Paris someday. 

“The ambiance is just great. It is really humbling being here. I am not expecting anything but pure luxury and I’m expecting to learn a lot because we have so much in Africa that we think we can leverage big time when we are able to come to places like Schiaparelli, Cartier and hopefully very soon, we will see Chocolate by Kwaku Bediako here,” he said. 

According to Founder of the African Fashion Fund, Roberta Annan, who joined the team on the visit to Schiaparelli, the trip will be an eye-opener and an inspiration for Chocolate.
