Tamale based hiplife artiste, Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, popularly known as Fancy Gadam, has said his colleague hiplife musician, Patapaa Amisty is not a talented artiste.

The two musicians have been throwing punches at each other after Patapaa stated that Fancy Gadam did not deserve the 'Song of the Year' award at the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Center on April 14.

Fancy Gadam won the award with his hit song ‘Total Cheat’, to the chagrin of Patapaa who was confident that his song ‘One Corner’ should have won that category without any difficulty.

A disappointed Patapaa, stormed out of the Accra International Conference Center where the awards ceremony was being held after he lost out on that award.

In expressing his dissatisfaction, the 'One Corner' hitmaker alleged that Charterhouse, the organizers of the awards, had taken a bribe to deny him of the award.

However, Fancy Gadam, who found the allegations quite absurd revealed that Patapaa thought he was the only person who deserved the award.

Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr FM, Fancy Gadam stated that he did not see Patapaa to be a musician.

“Patapaa is not talented, I’ll not waste my time doing a collaboration with him. I’ll not put Patapaa on my song, he’s a joker he’s not a musician,” Fancy Gadam said

Fancy Gadam picked up two awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2018. The awards included the 'Song of the Year' and 'Most Popular Song of The Year'.
