Sarkodie's social media apology was disrespectful – Freddy Meiway

Legendary Ivorian musician, Freddy Meiway, says it was absolutely wrong for Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie to apologise to him on social media.

The ‘Zoblazo’ hitmaker told Joy News’ Doreen Avio, that he sent Sarkodie a song to feature on, and for more than a year, the rapper had not worked on the song.

According to him, the rapper born Michael Owusu Addo did not respect him enough to give any explanations for his inability to work on the track.

In an interview with Joy News in September 2015, Meiway disclosed his love for Sarkodie’s music revealing that he will love to do a song with him.

Meiway said inasmuch as he appreciates the young rapper’s talent, he does not want to talk about him because the award-winning rapper has no respect for him.

The ‘Miss Lolo’ hit singer listing some of the Ghanaian artistes he respects and appreciates, refused to talk about Sarkodie when he was asked during an interview on Cosmopolitan Mix with Doreen Andoh.
