Shatta Wale was a poor man when I met him – Shatta Michy jabs Moesha after CNN viral video

- According to the girlfriend of the singer, she stuck with Shatta Wale during his 'broke days' till he became successful

- She went on to admonish Moesha to be patient and start from a humble point

Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, the longtime girlfriend of multiple award-winning musician, Shatta Wale, has also taken a dig at actress Moesha Boduong for running down hardworking women in an interview on CNN.

The girlfriend of the singer, popularly known as Shatta Michy, took to her Facebook page and lamented the rather ‘unfortunate’ claims made by Moesha.

According to Shatta Michy, her boyfriend was not a rich man when they first met but decided to stick with him because she believed in his dreams.

Her post on Facebook read, “its possible to make it as a woman in gh. don't be deceived. the rich man paying the bills today was once a poor man, patience has its rewards. you're waiting for 'ready made" men? when I met my KING, he was a work in progress, I was patient and God didn't fail me. if you understand life, Life will be easier. we all make mistakes but c'mon there are strong, hardworking young women out here, get them noticed ..eg the nail technician.”

Shatta Michy recounted how she was patient and trusted God to help Shatta Wale make it in life. She added that her efforts paid off.

She called on people to encourage hardworking women like the nail technician who also admitted dating someone but not a married man.

Moesha Boduong has come under heavy fire after an interview she granted CNN’s award-winning journalist, Christiane Amanpour.

According to Moesha who also doubles as an actress, it was almost impossible for a woman to ‘survive’ on her own in Ghana owing to the harsh economic conditions.

Other female celebrities including Confidence Haugen, Eazzy, Afia Schwarzenegger, Vicky Zugah and Efia Odo have also added their voice to the trending issue and have vehemently refuted the claims made by Moesha Bodoung.
