Ghanaian striker Joseph Esso made his first-ever debut for MC Alger in their 2-1 victory over USM Bel Abbes in their match-week 20 encounter.
Esso sealed a three-year deal to join the Maloudia lads from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old was handed a starting berth to feature for MC Alger in the Algerian top-flight league against USM Bel Abbes.
Before leaving Dreams FC last month, Esso had scored eleven goals in 18 games for the club in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
He once earned a call-up to the senior national team of Ghana for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Paulo and South Africa.
