Ghana's Anton Donkor: We want to score more goals this season Featured

Ghanaian forward Anton Donkor has stated that he and his team-mates at SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 want to bang more goals in this season's 3 Liga campaign.

The 23-year-old striker of Ghanaian descent expressed his satisfaction over their goal scoring feat after amassing 9 goals in their last two game outings  against Magdeburg and Ingolstadt respectively. 

Following their goalless drawn game against Zwickau last Saturday, the Hansa Rastock loanee marksman remains upbeat his side will find their scoring boots in their subsequent league fixtures.

''We want to score more goals again," he told MagentaSport . The chances are not bad, the SVW scored nine goals in the last two home games.''

The former VfL Wolfsburg youth star joined the Mannheim-based club from relegated third division side FC Carl Zeiss Jena on a two-year deal following the expiration of his contract this summer.

Donkor has so far featured in 10 league games for SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 in the ongoing lower division contest with 3 assists to his name.

The Gottingen-born speedster is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Germany U18 & U20 youth teams.
