AshantiGold SC release Atta Kusi & three others Featured

Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC has confirmed the departure of the four players after failing to live up to expectation at the club.

 
The Obuasi-based club have terminated the contract of Benedict Wobenu who joined the club on a free transfer prior to the start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
 
Defender Atta Kusi who also joined them last year has also been shown the exit door by the management of the club.
 
Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Isaac Quansah and Stephen Owusu Banahene have also been released following their poor output at the club.
 
AshantiGold SC were confirmed Ghana's representatives in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup following the cancellation of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season due to the Coronavirus pandemic
 
The four-time Ghana Premier League champions are hoping to strengthen their squad for the CAF Inter-club competition in the coming weeks.
 
Former Ghana Premier League topscorer Hans Kwofie and Yahaya Mohammed of Aduana Stars have already joined the club
