What you did is amazing- Chef Faila thanks Ghanaians for their massive

Failatu Abdul Razak, aka Chef Faila, expressed her gratitude to the people of Ghana for their overwhelming support during her journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

She acknowledged that the cook-a-thon served as a platform for Ghanaians from various backgrounds to unite and work towards a common goal, and she is thankful to have made history in the process.

In her first statement since completing the marathon, Chef Faila conveyed her confidence and appreciation for the opportunity.

She emphasized that this achievement is not just her own, but a victory for all Ghanaians.

She highlighted the unwavering support, love, and encouragement she received throughout her record-breaking attempt, emphasizing that it was a collective effort of the entire nation rather than an individual endeavor.

“Words will not be enough, words will not be able to describe how I feel.

This is first in history to see religions, to see tribes, to see towns, to see people with different views come together as one to push Ghana to the top of the world.

This is extremely amazing.

It is the collective effort of everyone: children, the youth, adults, and every single soul, working day and night to make this a reality for all of us.

I couldn’t have done it without you,” she said in a speech after ending her attempt.

She pledged to continue to improve upon her craft and make herself available to support others with the opportunities her attempt has brought her way.

With an impressive total of 227 hours logged, Faila has easily surpassed the current record set by Irish Chef Alan Fisher (119 hours and 57 minutes).

However, the official confirmation from Guinness World Records is still pending.

Driven by her unwavering determination and culinary expertise, she persevered and extended the marathon until January 10th.
