ATSE Ghana donates huge hospital equipment worth 50,000ghc to Obogu Heath Centre

Shakur Yusuf Salifu, showed love and generosity to Obogu Health Centre in the Eastern region on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Shakur Yusuf Salifu, is from Obogu, Ghana, but has lived in Denmark, Italy, and Germany before moving to Barcelona five years ago.

Even though years have passed, he still remembers Ghana, its people, and their basic wants.

In light of this, he has set up the NGO ATSE Ghana with the help of some friends from Europe.

ATSE Ghana (the acronym stands for Association for Social and Economic Transformation in Ghana) intends to build a shelter home in Obogu for orphans and single-parent families.

The house will be built on land that is between the Obogu Apeneng Senior High School and the Obogu Health Centre.

This is a great spot for families and children who have lost their parents to meet their basic needs.

Following the advice of the local government, ATSE Ghana has chosen to help the Obogu Health Centre with hospital equipment worth 50,000ghc to Obogu Heath Centre before starting to build the shelter home.

To do this, the managers of the health centers have given ATSE Ghana a list of the most important medical supplies that need to be bought in Ghana.

The following is some of the equipment that ATSE Ghana gave to the OBOGU Health Centre.

The items were given to Asante Akyem Obogu manhemaa Nana Afia Pokuaa II to be presented to the health centre.

Item list: Flow metre, hospital mattress, nebulizer, drip stand, pulse oximeter, ambubags (for kids and adults), autoclaves, suction machines, and more.
