The station, located on the last floor of the Silvercrest building, caught fire on Saturday, March 18, 2023
It is unknown what sparked the fire at the radio station.
In a virtual interview with DJ KA, a radio journalist with Silver 98.3 fm, the fire began in the early morning hours while their sports crew was preparing for a sports show, and a technician on duty had to jump through the windows to save his life.
