My house was the headquarters of drug barons but I never used drugs – Ernest Opoku

Gospel musician Ernest Opoku has revealed that his house used to be the headquarters of drug barons but he never used any of these drugs.

Ernest Opoku has shared some past events of his life and how he lived at Krofrom in Kumasi the Ashanti Regional Capital where he was surrounded by drug barons.

Speaking about the connection he had with these drug barons, the Gospel musician admitted these drug dealers sometimes hid their drugs in his house and come for them later but he was never in any way influenced to indulge in drugs.

“They used to sell drugs in our house…that was their selling point and sometimes we hid the drugs in our house for them and all that”, Ernest Opoku revealed in an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi.

Ernest Opoku was asked by the host if he has ever tasted drugs before, he responded that though he lived in one of the most notorious communities noted for the drug trade, he never tasted it.

“I was living at Krofrom Colombia, excuse me to say that, when you talk of that community everybody knows they deal in hard drugs

That is where Ernest Opoku lived but I never used some”
