Tema High Court to adjudicate Afia Schwar's case on Jan 17

The Tema High Court has set a new date to give its final judgment between the Ashante Chairman for the NPP Chairman Wontumi and comedian Afia Schwarzenegger.

On Tuesday, December 20, the judge, Emmanuel Ankamama moved the motion to notify the court about a filed sentence imposed on the client of Afia Schwar after the two legal parties met.

It would be recalled that Afia Schwar was sentenced to 10 days in prison by a Tema High Court after being found guilty of defamation against Bernard Antwi Boasiako known as Chairman Wontumi.

Earlier on, lawyer Ampaw explained that the lawyer for  Afia Schwarzenegger pleaded with the court for her (Afia) sentence to be suspended because she was ill, hence the decision to adjudicate the case to January 17th after meeting on the 20th of December.
