The Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Mark Okraku-Mantey has said that he is disappointed in rapper Sarkodie.
This comment from Mark Okraku Mantey comes after rapper Sarkodie tweeted lambasting the government over their inability to render help to creatives even when they use their talents to attract tourists and investors into the country.
Reacting to the tweet of Sarkodie, Mark Okraku-Mantey disclosed that he was disappointed in Sarkodie over his comment, “I was somehow disappointed when Sarkodie made those comments”, Mark said
Throwing his support behind the government, Mark Okuraku Mantey disclosed that the just-ended Global Citizens Festival which saw a lot of stars including Sarkodie was organized by the government
Hence it would be unfair to say the government does not support creatives.
“I see that people think the government will carry money for you (creative) to operate
The government will not be able to do that
