The world is now focused on Nigeria in terms of music from Africa – Epixode

Vodafone Multiple award-winning Epixode born Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo has said that Nigeria is now seen as the grounds for music grounds in Africa.

The country has produced a lot of musicians with good music who have put Nigeria on the map.

According to Epixode, the comparison that is made between Ghanaian and Nigerian music is uncalled for

“I don’t really support the Ghana Nigeria comparison because they have a structured industry and besides a Nigerian can die for each other,” he disclosed.

“We don’t have that thing as Ghanaians and you’d notice that these Nigerians have a united front so Davido and Wizkid might be fighting but if Wizkid wins a Grammy, Davido will surely post,” he opined. 

He continued “Our love for each other doesn’t match up to what these Nigerians have besides the investment there is huge and their numbers alone show that they will take over the world and they’ve even taken over the world.

“The whole world is looking at Nigeria now when it comes to African music so for me the Ghana Nigeria comparison I don’t really support it because market-wise they are far gone,” Epixode told Amansan Krakye.
