A person is said to be selfish if he or she lacks consideration for other people; concerned chiefly with one’s own personal profit or pleasure. A selfish person is frowned upon in our Ghanaian society but according to Okyeame Quofi, one must be selfish in order to achieve greatness in life.

The former Hiplife artiste and radio presenter in and interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda shockingly revealed that;
“People become great when they decide to be selfish. It is commonly not accepted and it is not a natural thing to be selfish. However, when one becomes selfish, I assure you that greatness knocks on your door”.
The host, Sammy Flex who was surprised by Okyeame Quofi’s statement pushed him to throw more light on why it takes selfish attitude for one to become great in our part of the world.
“It is a decision which is not affinity with human beings, but those who become selfish, mostly become great sometimes in their lives” he added.
