Medikal orders Cuban Necklace worth $61K; fans react and say Sarkodie is too stingy to buy one

Rapper Medikal has made an order for a customized Cuban Necklace from Miami-based dealers Icebox Diamonds and Watches.

The Cuban necklace is one of the most expensive chains right now on the market based on the “Karatage” the percentage of gold in it. A Cuban Necklace can have as much as 75 per cent of pure gold in it.

Following the announcement, many are asking themselves why Medikal will buy such a necklace that costs an arm and a leg. For some, Medikal does not make that amount of money to buy such a pricy chain.

A Cuban Necklace which is worth $61,000 is equivalent to GHS355,668. To make it more understandable, the Cuban Necklace Medikal has ordered is worth more than GHS3 billion in the old Ghana cedis.

This has got fans talking and linking this move by Medikal to the popular stinginess of Sarkodie. For many, Sarkodie will not waste money to buy that kind of necklace either because he is too poor to afford it or too stingy to spend such an amount.

However, Sarkodie’s fans will not have any of that as they believe Sarkodie has the money to buy even more than a Cuban Necklace. The debate and banter are on.
