‘We’ll Only Respect Bagbin If He’s Not Bias’- NPP MP Issues Strong Warning To NDC New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko has warned the new Speaker of parliament to be very objective and live according to the standing orders of parliament otherwise he’ll lose the respect of the NPP lawmakers have for him.

Speaking to Oyerepa FM, Dr. Nyarko who has obviously not come to terms with the dramatic turn of event for losing the speaker of parliament slot to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) when their party is in power, also added that any attempt by Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin to make the NDC majority in parliament will be vehemently resisted.

You’ve been a Member of Parliament with an outstanding reputation so you shouldn’t be biased or do anything untoward that has the tendency to destroy your hard-won reputation acquired over the years, ‘ he said on Oyerepa FM.

He further added;

I believe that Bagbin will not kowtow to the whims and caprices of NDC. …Every Speaker should know and be guided by our standing orders. He will lose respect if he goes contrary to the standing orders.
