During the unveiling of Wendy Shay at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Bullet stated emphatically that Wendy Shay is Ebony’s replacement so Ghanaians should give her the maximum support.

However, Mr Kwarteng affectionately called Starboy Kwarteng has rubbished such claims that no artiste can replace his daughter citing Wendy Shay to buttress his point of view.
It’ll interest you to know that music enthusiasts in Ghana are of the view that Wendy is trying to imitate the late Ebony. But to Starboy Kwarteng, Wendy Shay can never replicate the works of the late Ebony because she was exceptionally unique.
“Ohemaa is unique. She is in her own world and class. No one can replace her. Maybe, Wendy Shay could be greater…”, Starboy Kwarteng told 3News in an interview.
Wendy Shay was signed by RuffTown Records owned by Ebony’s former manager, Bullet. For sometime now, there’s ongoing frosty relationship between Bullet and Ebony’s father.
