Growing up, primary school teachers mostly instruct pupils to write about their favourite pet at home. It may be recalled that cats and dogs dominated the list of pets cited by the pupils.

From a video we’ve sighted, it’s obvious dog happens to be Yaw Dabo’s favourite pet. This is because the comic Kumawood actor in the video was seen playing with a white woman’s dog which he was told it is named ‘Nanna’.
After hearing the name of the white woman’s dog, Yaw Dabo told the woman the real name of dog in Ghanaian language as (Kraman). Known for his sarcasm, he jovially said that, the name of his ‘local’ dog back home is called Shatta.

Although we don’t know what inspired Yaw Dabo to name his dog ‘Shatta’ perhaps he’s a fan of Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale. Besides, the Kumawood actor who’s currently in France parted ways with the white woman whiles still thinking aloud the rationale behind the dog name ‘Nanna‘.
