National Security lied, there's evidence that soldier killer is an operative – Adib insists

Security and foreign policy analyst Adib Saani has revealed that the National Security's denial of Benlord Ababio, a suspect in the killing of a military officer at Millennium City, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region, as one of its staff is unfortunate.

He said the way the Ministry of National Security was quick to deny the suspect was strange and could point to something fishy.

The statement from the Ministry of National Security read, "The Ministry of National Security has taken note of a news item in circulation on social media that alleges that a supposed staff member of the Ministry of National Security, by name Benlord Ababio, in an incident that occurred on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Millennium City, Kasoa, shot and killed a soldier.

"The Ministry wishes to put on record that the suspect, Benlord Ababio, who is currently in police custody, is not a staff member of the Ministry of National Security," portions of the statement said.

"In fact, I discussed this with another friend of mine who is also a security analyst, and he disclosed to me that he had in his possession videos and photos of the training of the suspect, which proves that he is a national security official.

"The way the National Security released a statement denying that the suspect was a staff member is strange and shows that there is something they're trying to hide.".

According to him, he had warned that these individuals would infiltrate our security system, and that has come to pass with several of them in uniforms, wielding ID cards, and parading themselves as national security officers
