Awaso District Pentecost church donates to health facilities in Sefwi Bekwai township

The Sefwi Bekwai Area of the Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Aps. Vincent Anane Denteh has presented some items to three health facilities in the Sefwi Bekwai Township to aid in the fight against COVID-19.

The items which included foam mattresses, hand sanitizers, parazone, floor cleaning agents, tissue, liquid and powdered soap, among others were presented in separate ceremonies to the Sefwi Bekwai Government Clinic, Peace and Grace Clinic and Greenshield Hospital all in the Sefwi Bekwai Township.

Presenting the items, Aps Vincent Anane Denteh revealed that the presentation was part of the Vision of the Chairman of the Church, Aps Eric Nyamekye, to make the Church relevant to meeting the needs of society.

He disclosed that all Districts in the Area are to make similar donations to any health institution in their jurisdictions.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Government Clinic, the Medical officer in charge, Mr James Adababu expressed his profound gratitude to the Church for their timely gesture and said they are prepared to serve as many people as will need their services, and promised that the items will be put to good use.

All the other institutions equally express their gratitude and asked other benevolent institutions to emulate the good example of the Church of Pentecost.
