Ghana running out of fish?

In Ghana, the fishing industry is key to providing incomes and a critical source of nutrition, especially for the poor.

Yet overfishing, poor fishing practices, and pollution are depleting fish stocks, compelling the country to import 300 thousand metric tonnes of fish annually to feed its people.
