2 primary 6 pupils design genius bag that lights up without electricity

The old saying goes that necessity is the mother of invention. A prime example of this was when Jabulo Ndlovu and Vusi Musi struggled to complete their homework as a result of load-shedding.

The two grade 6 learners, therefore, decided to invent a lighting bag, which could light up without electricity.

The pair showed off their brilliant invention at the Eskom Expo for young scientists.

YEN.com.gh understands that the event took place in September 2018, but the news was shared on Tuesday by Twitter user, @HeSouthAfrica, and went viral.

Fountain Five Primary School in Ratanda Township was beaming with pride as their 2 students showed off their brilliance.
