Salisu Mohammed finally makes Ghana debut in game against Brazil

Southampton FC defender Salisu Mohammed after long wait, made he’s first national team appearance for four times Africa Cup of Nations champions Ghana in an international friendly.

The sensational defender came in the second half of Black Stars friendly against five-times FIFA World Cup winner’s Brazil on Friday at the Stade Oceane Le Havre, France.

Salisu had a brilliant 45′ minutes of football commanding and arranging backline to help Ghana dominate play in the second half, though Ghana had already conceded 3-0 in the first half, courtesy Marquinhos and Richarlison brace.

Salisu, born to a Ghanaian parent have being chased by the Ghana Football Association to feature for the Black Stars on several attempts but all to no avail

He is among five players who earned debut call-up to the team ahead of FIFA World Cup tournament.
