Ghana President Nana Akuffo Addo predict Black Stars win FIFA World Cup first in Africa

President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has stated that his soil will be the first country to win the FIFA World Cup from Africa.

Nana Addo disclosed this when the team of delegation and Qatar 2022 Ambassador Daniel Trezeguet arrived in the West African Country with the FIFA World Cup as they tour all 32 qualified country’s.

“I am of the firm conviction that Ghana will not only participate in the competition but will make the whole nation and by extension the African continent proud, with a great performance,” the President said.

We, who were the first to gain our freedom and independence from colonial rule, will be the first to bring the World Cup to Africa”.

On 2010 World Cup tournament in South Africa which saw Suarez of Uruguay deny Ghana the chance to semi final said;

“We have also had to wait for twelve (12) years to get revenge against Uruguay, and we assure them that, this time, the hand of Suarez will not save them against the Black Stars of Ghana”.
