As well as France, hosts of the event, 15 nations have booked a spot at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018, which is scheduled to take place in Brittany from 5 to 24 August 2018. As of 11 April, when tickets were first put on sale, supporters of competing countries have also been able to do the same.
“The success of a tournament like this one is measured in terms of sporting spectacle, but also in terms of its friendly, party-like atmosphere,” explained Brigitte Henriques, Vice-President of the French Football Federation and the Local Organising Committee. “This competition must be a veritable festival, held in a region that is passionate about the beautiful game and very involved in the development of women’s football.”
