Coza leaders release official statement over Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and Busola Dakolo rape saga

Intro

Just weeks after the rape allegation by Busola Dakolo against  the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the church leaders have released an official statement reacting to the rape allegations.

Busola in a tell-all interview released in June, acccused Fatoyinbo of raping her when she was a teenager attending his church in Ilorin, Fatoyinbo has since denied the allegation.

In a statement issued in Abuja by the Executive Senior Assistant to the Senior Pastor of COZA, Ademola Adetuberu, today Saturday September 21st, COZA said that Fatoyinbo never raped Busola.

“We see this ugly development fuelled by envy and sheer jealousy as an unnecessary distraction and a fight from the pit of hell against the ministry that God gave Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, as well as a declaration of war against the Church of Christ to which COZA is a flourishing branch under God’s grace.
