Majid and I are half-castes, we are lookalike – Shatta Wale reveals

Intro

If you are thinking of hiring the services of a comedian for a show – to give the audience worth of their money and yearn for more, then look no further than celebrated reggae and dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

The Ghanaian musician has proven beyond doubts through the years that he can fool for Africa and if music stops paying he would venture into comedy.

Shatta Wale has disclosed in a video making rounds on social media that he is a half-caste and he looks like A-list Nollywood actor, Majid Michel.

Half-caste is a term for a category of people of mixed race or ethnicity. It is derived from the term caste, which comes from the Latin castus, meaning pure, and the derivative Portuguese and Spanish casta, meaning race.

It can sometimes be used or seen as an offensive term (particularly in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and parts of Asia), but this is not universal.
