There was unrest and confusion at Modibbo Aldama Girls Arabic Secondary School, Maruda, Sokoto, was, on Sunday, when a SS2 student was rescued after attempting suicide to avoid being paraded on the assembly ground over an alleged theft of N2,000.
According to reports, the student identified Aisha Ibrahim Isa was later cleared after two other students later confessed they stole the money at the Dr. Kulu hostel.
She further described the allegation against her as painful and unfortunate, and as such, putting her reputation to jeopardy, shame and discredited her person.
