Intro
A village in the Northern Region of Cameroon were hit by Boko Haram sect in the middle of the night, killing 11 people in their sleep, according to the security sources.
A source close to the local self-defence militia said: “Boko Haram made an incursion at night in the Tchakamari area killing 11 people.”
It was the deadliest Boko Haram raid in recent months in Cameroon. The bodies were “charred”, the source close to security services said, adding that the attackers had burnt the village.
