Mark Okraku Mantey Calls Out John Dumelo's Abysmal Performance As VGMA Host - So We Weren't The Only Ones Who Saw That Embarrassment

Actor John Dumelo was actually the one stain on a VGMA night that went smoothly for once, Patapaa’s controversy aside.

The actor as co-MC with Berla Mundi was an eyesore, with his dry NDC and V8 jokes and his lame ass freestyle and a million other mistakes we just don’t have the time to list down here.

In real time during the awards many complained about his hosting skills on social media and Mark Okraku Mantey has also called it out in a recent attack on the two hosts on the night.

Mantey fired both Berla Mundi and Dumelo and said the standard of VGMA emceeing has really gone down.

“He (Dumelo) was lost. If this is our standard for emceeing and we think it is good enough then we are prehistoric,” he said.

“Producing dry jokes, now dancing, some funny moves, not tickling anyone,” Mantey added.

He also said Mundi did not perform well on the night, although that has drawn some strong criticism from the likes of Nana Aba Anamoah and Michael Oti-Adjei.
