ASA Savings and Loans donates to Dansoman ‘2’ Basic School

In the quest to improve and support government efforts to ensure quality delivery of service to students in public schools, ASA Savings and loans has presented a multi-purpose printer, a high resolution projector, a multi-functional public address system, and 15 units of Oxford dictionary to Dansoman ‘2’ basic school in the Ablekuma West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

Mr Richard Nartey, CSR manager of the company, said this presentation forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, and gave the assurance that the company would continue to partner public schools to improve on the quality of education across the country

“We have supported a lot of public schools and health facilities throughout the year and it is our hope that it will lead to improved service delivery to the populace”, he added

Some of the beneficiary institutions are Prampram SHS, Ashaiman SHS, Ashaiman Polyclinic, Pacesetters Autism Center in Tema, Cape Coast School for the deaf, Sekondi School for the deaf, Mamprobi Hospital, Laterbiokoshie cluster of schools, Tamale Children’s Home, amongst others.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headteacher, Mr Emmanuel Bachuri, expressed gratitude to the company for choosing their school to help minimize their plight.

“We would put it to good use to ensure that lessons are delivered appropriately, and test administered properly to uplift the image of the school and to meet the standards of GES”.

The girls’ prefect of the school, Freda Kumi, was elated and on behalf of the students praised the company for extending this kind gesture to them
