The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Elections Committee is set to submit a report to the National Council of the party, following Saturday’s Special Delegates’ Conference.
.Evans Nimako, Director of Elections for the NPP, explained that the National Council will also address any existing disagreements that may have arisen during the election process.
“At the end of this whole exercise, which so far has been peaceful, fair, and transparent to all stakeholders, we will submit a report to the party’s National Council
The National Council may accept whatever report put together by the Elections Committee,” Nimako said.
Kennedy Agyapong threatened to expose President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia over attacks on his agents in the ongoing party super delegates congress.
Former Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and spokesperson for Alan Kyerematen’s campaign, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, has also expressed dissatisfaction with the alleged breach of rules in the party’s ongoing super delegates conference in the North East Region, as well as the assault on their agent.
The winner of the primaries will then face off against the opposition National Democratic Congress’s John Dramani Mahama in the December 2024 general election.
