Fan Milk launches 2021 School Caravan to sensitize pupils about COVID-19

Fan Milk PLC has launched its 2021 FanChoco School Caravan Campaign aimed at sensitizing over 100,000 basic school children about COVID-19 prevention measures as well as healthy snacking.

Announcing the commencement of the campaign during a ceremony held at La Bethel Presby and La Salem Presby in Accra, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Ziobeieton Yeo, reiterated that Fan Milk will continue to offer affordable but quality nutritional products with better snacking options for both children and adults.

He said Fan Milk will continue its advocacy for people to adopt healthy eating and snacking habits to boost their immune system and general health.

Mr. Yeo said due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the School Caravan has been enhanced to drive the importance of hand washing and wearing of nose masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in schools.

“The School Caravan is a demonstration of our mission to become part of the solution to malnutrition in children and young adults while driving the importance of environmental management and sanitation..”

The 2021 FanChoco School Caravan will also be used to tackle environmental awareness against pollution through its “Wrapper Collection Promo” through which pupils will be taken through proper waste disposal and recycling.

Since its inception in 2018, the FanChoco School Caravan by FanMilk PLC, has reached over 500,000 pupils in 180,000 schools across the country.
