Marketicons Group donates hand sanitizers to Ghana Police Service

The Market Icons group of companies has made some donations to the Ghana Police Service to help protect them as they help the nation against COVID-19.

The marketing communications, sales, and distribution agency made a donation of 70 gallons and 130 bottles of hand sanitizers and some Veronica buckets to the Police Service.

The CEO of the Company, Dankwa Samuel Awuah in making the presentation said, “we have been producing for Local Government to support the government and we decided to have a special package for the Ghana Police Service in a bid to say thank you and also to protect yourselves.”

Dr. Shaibu Pabi Gariba, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Director, Police Operations of the Ghana Police Service in receiving the donation on behalf of Police said, they will distribute it to the men on the field so that safety and prevention will be assured.

“We are happy to note that, Icons Ghana has seen the good job that the security agencies are doing and therefore as their corporate social responsibilities, they are donating these hand sanitizers to us. I can assure you that the Inspector General of Police, the Police administration and the other agencies that are coordinating the exercise will use it for the purpose you donated them for. We will distribute it to our men on the field so that safety and prevention will be assured.”
