I’m committed to the development of Tano North – Freda Prempeh

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Tano North, Freda Akosua Oheneafrewo Prempeh says she has done enough to deserve another term in office as MP.

The Deputy Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister says she has brought a lot of development in the constituency.

Speaking to journalists in her constituency after a familiarization tour, Madam Prempeh said “In the last few years, we have seen tremendous development in this constituency. So far l have constructed sixty boreholes for sixty communities in my constituency”.

She added that her projects are dotted across areas like “Bredi, Abuom, Yamfo, Dedeaboa, Asukese, Bomaa Poultry area, Bomaa Bonkofi, Bomaa SHS, Subonpang, Mamponteng, Campso and other areas”.

Madam Prempeh is seeking re-election in the 2020 polls.

Prior to that, she has to be approved by party delegates during the NPP’s parliamentary primaries scheduled for 2020 in constituencies the party has sitting MPs.

She first came to Parliament in 2012 after replacing former Agric Minister, Ernest Debrah.

“I came to Parliament with the aim of helping my people, by addressing their basic needs”.

Madam Prempeh said her tenure as MP has seen some major facelift in some senior high schools in the constituency.

“Let’s take the Yamfo Anglican Senior School, I have built a 12 unit classroom block, provided 600 chairs for them as well. I also provided 100 bags cement for some expansion works in the school. In the same school, I donated library books and mosquito nets”.
