Christmas Made in Ghana food fair underway at Aviation Social Centre [Photos]

Citi FM and Citi TV’s Christmas Made in Ghana food fair is underway at the Aviation social centre.

The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm today and will continue tomorrow [Sunday] at the same venue.

The fair is to support Citi FM and Citi TV’s drive to support distributors and producers of Made In Ghana products which include adult and kids’ wear, food and beverages and other consumables.

It falls under the Operation Feed Yourself campaign that seeks to encourage growth and investment in the agribusiness space.

The event will provide a one-stop-shop for made-in-Ghana products/brands to enable patrons to interact with different vendors to create awareness and growth.

As a side attraction, some staff of Citi FM will engage in a Jollof cooking competition.

The competition will feature four groups; Credible Jollof, Ahuofe Jollof, Bombastic Jollof and Jollof Beyond Aid.

Team credible Jollof is made up of Vivian Kai Lokko, Frema Adunyame, Umaru Sanda Amadu, Bobbie Osei and Godfred Akoto Boafo.

Team Ahuofe Jollof is made up of Jessica Opare Saforo, Osei Kwame, Tuffuor Boateng, Nana Adwoa Sarkodie, Mellisa Aouad and Ato Kwamina Essuman.

Team Bombastic Jollof consists of Aj Sarpong, Jessica Aryee, Michael Ogbodu and Abena Owusu Nyamekye.

Team Jollof Beyond Aid is made up of Benard Avle, Kojo Akoto Boateng, Dziffa Ametam and Kwaku David.

In addition, there will be a kids corner to also cater to the needs of kids and keep them engaged.
