#KomiInTheCiti: Citi TV to feature at Chale Wote with kenkey & pork

Citi TV and Citi FM will be highly represented at this year’s Chale Wote Street Art Festival with a special kenkey and pork stand.

As official media partners of the eclectic arts platform, the stations will bring listeners and viewers up to speed with all that goes on as they also provide patrons with kenkey and pork at the GRA Car Park at James Town.

This will take place tomorrow, August 24, 2019, at as part of the main street art exhibition.

This year’s event will focus on the conceptual intersection of artistic thought around mythology from Africa and artist dialogues geared towards imaginative joint presentations.

People from the various aspects of the arts will be parading the streets of James Town to display their crafts and artistry.

In 8 years Chale Wote Street Art Festival has provided multiple platforms for discovering some of the most talented creators from around the world and Africa particularly.

From August 14 to 25,  2019, over 150 artists from 21 countries have been participating in the elaborate multi-disciplinary open-air public space exhibition stretching from James Town into 6 satellite spaces throughout Accra; Kukun, National Theatre, Museum of Science and Technology, Tegan Heritage Collection and Museum, Ozzie’s and the new Gold Coast.

Chale Wote has become a destination for emerging as well as established artists and cultural workers across the world.
