Election Petition: NDC vilified Justices of SC without any cause – Miracles Aboagye

A presidential staffer, Mr Dennis Miracles Aboagye has said that it was obvious that claims by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that they were cheated in the 2020 elections were false.

He described the NDC as a group of confidence tricksters who keep taking their followers on an emotional roller coaster.

His comments follow the revelation by the outgoing General Secretary of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia that the NDC was unable to collate their results in the 2020 elections.

Mr Nketia who is aspiring to be elected as National Chair of the NDC, when he met delegates in the Bono Region, blamed the incumbent chair Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo who is also seeking re-election, for their inability to gather the results to challenge the figures of the electoral commission, yet filed the petition at the Supreme Court.

It is recalled that the Apex Court on March 4, 2020, dismissed the petition filed by Mr John Dramani Mahama with Asiedu Nketia as the star witness, on the basis that it was without merit.

Following the revelation by Mr Asiedu Nketia that the NDC couldn’t collate their results, Mr Dennis Miracles Aboagye said in a tweet that “It’s always been obvious they lied, insulted and vilified our judges without any cause

But of course, these are a group of confident tricksters who keep taking their followers on an emotional roller coaster.
