The security of public officials is very paramount to the nation and in view of this security personnel are assigned to protect them from harm and danger in and out of their homes.

Mrs. Jean Adukwei Mensa, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana has recently been in the media space giving accounts on the elections held in the previous year (2020). The security personnel that is protecting the EC boss seems to be worrying and unbearable to some section of Ghanaians as they claim that there is too little to protect as the boss is free from harm and danger if she is doing the right thing.

Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus took to his social media handle (Facebook page) to comment about the military personnel that is always seen with the EC boss in public.

“Jean Mensa’s military guards can end the war in Syria. All these soldiers following one person. Because what? So what if government changes and you are removed just as your predecessors was removed? Anaa immediately government changes and she is removed all those who want to harm her will repent?”, Mr. Asare Obeng’s post reads.
