Inusah Fuseini bids Tamale Central farewell

Tamale Central constituency Legislator, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has reaffirmed his decision not to seek re-election at the 2020 Parliamentary polls.

Even through there is incessant pressure on him to rescind his decision, he insists there is the need to pave the way for others in the NDC to takeover and build on the solid foundation he has laid.

The former Roads and Highways Minister in a telephone conversation explained that he is quitting Parliament to fully devote to the 2020 campaigns of the NDC Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.

He pleaded with his constituents to fully support whoever emerges as the next Tamale Central constituency Parliamentary candidate to retain the seat on the NDC’s ticket.

The Tamale Central constituency lawmaker profoundly thanked his constituents for giving him the opportunity to serve them over 12 years.

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini became a member of Parliament in 2006 through a by-election necessitated by former NDC MP for Choggu-Tishigu constituency, Professor Wayo Seini’s defeat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He has since retained the seat which was later renamed Tamale Central constituency following the split of the constituency.

He successfully developed the constituency in line with his campaign promises overtime.

Alhaji Fuseini has constructed several roads, built classroom blocks, sponsored needy students and alleviated the plight of the destitute.

Professionally, he is a Lawyer and was a senior associate with the Law Trust firm in Accra.

He is loved by his political opponents for dispassionately analyzing national issues in the mainstream media.
