Napo stocks Ash Town library

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has stocked the Ash Town Community Library with books to help promote reading in the constituency.

Napo, who is also the Minister for Education, values the reading of storybooks by students.

Famous storybooks such as “The Cock Crow” and “Things Fall Apart” were some of the books presented by the MP.

In his succinct remarks, Napo stated that the reading of books is essential in the area of education so it should be given attention.

He entreated the students and pupils in Manhyia South Constituency to take advantage of the facility by visiting the library always.

According to him, it’s his heart’s desire to help produce influential people from his constituency to lead the country in future.

In this regard, he stated that he would do whatever in his power as MP to help promote education in his area.

He also said he has plans of constructing additional libraries soon in the Manhyia South Constituency to boost reading.
