Help us to get our movies on Amazon, Netflix — Martha Ankomah appeals to NFA

Celebrated Ghanaian actress, Martha Ankomah has made a heartfelt appeal to the National Film Authority (NFA) to support local filmmakers in getting their movies on major streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix. .

By having Ghanaian movies featured on platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix, filmmakers not only gain exposure but also contribute to the diversity of content available to audiences worldwide.

This exposure can lead to greater recognition for Ghanaian cinema and open up opportunities for collaboration and investment in the local film industry.

Martha made this appeal when The National Film Authority on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, organized the inaugural Film Investment Breakfast Meeting at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel

During the questions and answers session, Martha Ankomah urged the National Film Authority to help in getting Ghanaian movies on Amazon and Netflix:

“When you go on Amazon and Netflix, there are Nigerian movies…But for us in Ghana, it’s difficult to get our movies there
