Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Kelvin Agyekum, otherwise known as Kurl Songx, has reflected on his musical journey, attributing a significant portion of his success to his association with Highly Spiritual Records.
It will be recalled that the ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ crooner, rose to prominence after winning the MTN Hitmaker competition in 2016, capturing the attention of music enthusiasts with his exceptional vocal prowess.
However, it was his collaboration with Highly Spiritual Records that propelled him into the spotlight, providing him with the platform to showcase his talent to a broader audience.
Speaking in an exclsuive interview with Afia Owusu on Xzone on TV XYZ, Kurl said ”Where I am now, if it weren’t for Highly Spiritual, I wouldn’t be here,” he explained.Advertisement.
However, the music sensation believes that as individuals pursuing growth in the music industry, it is common for artists to part ways with their record labels.
“It’s important for us to grow, and sometimes as business-minded individuals, we may not want to remain with one label for too long.
Kurl Songx went on to reveal that after parting ways with Highly Spiritual Records, he is currently not under any management
