“Coming to Africa: Welcome to Ghana” to Premier at the African Film Festival in Dallas, Texas, USA

 “Coming to Africa: Welcome to Ghana,” the follow up to the award-winning romantic comedy, “Coming to Africa,” written and directed by Anwar Jamison, and produced by PY Addo Boateng, has been named an official selection in the 8th edition of The African Film Festival (TAFF) set to take place June 1-3, 2023 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

“Coming to Africa: Welcome to Ghana” is the festival’s opening night feature film.

The film’s predecessor, “Coming to Africa,”premiered in 2020 and came up a big winner at the 7th annual Las Vegas Black Film Festival (LVBFF),after being nominated for six jury awards, and nabbing three –Best Romance, Best Comedy and Best Actress

The film also took home the Audience Choice Award for Best Hometowner Feature Film at the Indie Memphis Film Festival (IMFF)
