Sarkodie has always come through for me- D-Black

CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, has explained how he has maintained a good relationship with award- winning rapper, Sarkodie.

In a recent interview on ‘Enjoyment Drive’ show with Monique Law, the rapper and businessman revealed that his has known Sarkodie ever since he joined the music industry.

“He’s cool, I’ve known him since I released my first album and he released his a year before, I think we met even before commercial success, I used to live a street behind where he comes to record and that was where Edem and Kwaw Kese always recorded,” he said.

D-Black, responding to claims from other artists about Sarkodie not responding to texts or messages clarified that Sarkodie is very cool and has always come through for him.

“So he got into the industry first and I joined a year or two after and he’s just been cool, we’ve jammed on some four songs together, I’ve asked him to do verses for my artistes and my producers, he’s done all of them, every single request he has come through and that’s the coolest friendship
