Lisa Yaro shares amapiano summer anthem “Savage”

Yaro describes, “‘Savage’ is an energetic club record that gets you hyped and gives you the freedom to let loose and just have a good time!

I really wanted to make a summer record that embodied FUN.

I hope my record can be that escape for anyone looking to blow off some steam through dancing.

The EP will follow a series of successful single releases that include “Biko,” “Domitilla,” featuring Mayorkun, and “Yaro,” featuring Afrobeats superstar Zlatan.

The song’s combination of Afrobeats and R&B led music blog The Knockturnal to say that “Lisa has created a sound for herself within the Afrobeats genre that incorporates both sides of her culture.”.

She has recently gained success as an independent Afrobeats artist with multiple commercial releases, such as “Biko” and “Yaro” featuring Afrobeats superstar Zlatan, which have received rotation on BET Jams, Revolt TV, BET Soul, and Apple Music.

She has also performed in sold-out venues across the US with Afrobeats artists Flavour, opened up for Asake, and performed at the 2022 AFRIMMA Awards Show in Dallas, TX.
